Conference Announcement:

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is my pleasure to announce the third installation of the Hydraulic Measurements and Experimental Methods Conference. Jointly sponsored by EWRI / ASCE and IAHR, this meeting will be held in Lake Placid, NY (USA) on September 10-12, 2007.

This conference, which follows the highly successful ones in Buffalo, NY and Estes Park, CO, focuses on tools, techniques, and methods of data analysis related to surface water flows. Areas of application include rivers, lakes, estuaries, coastal oceans, and manmade aquatic systems such as irrigation channels and reservoirs.

Note that abstracts are due 31 October, 2006. Also note that historic and picturesque Lake Placid is in the heart of the Adirondacks, is within easy driving distance of several international airports, and will be in the peak of fall colors during the conference period.
